Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Us! 

Join Alpha Psi Lambda members from across the Chicago area as we proudly participate in the 2026 Annual 26th Street Mexican Independence Day Parade on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM! We will meet up prior to the parade, around 1030AM to distribute T-shirts.  There are spots for 50 walkers! All walkers must be in good standing and be either dues paying collegiate members, alumni or at large. 

If you plan to attend, but do not want to walk in the parade, you may still purchase a commerative T-shirt.

General Hispanic Heritage Month T-shirts (not Chicago specific) will be sold at a later date for those of you not attending.

This is an exciting opportunity to come together, celebrate our heritage, and represent the Fraternity in one of the largest and most vibrant parades in the Midwest. The parade travels through the heart of Little Village, bringing together hundreds of thousands of residents, visitors, community leaders, businesses, and organizations in celebration of Mexican culture, heritage, and independence. The parade participation fee is being sponored by the National Office.

Registration is $20 and includes:

• An exclusive event T-shirt
• A spot to march with Alpha Psi Lambda in the parade
• The opportunity to connect and celebrate with members from across the Chicago area

This will be a great opportunity to increase our visibility and public relations efforts, support recruitment, strengthen our presence in the community, and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month together as a Familia.
